In a week that we celebrate our heritage, we also celebrate all the people that make up our amazing nation, including all people throughout our wonderful continent, Africa.
We recently spotted Marshall on the corner of Judith Road and Hill Road in Emmarentia. There was just something different about his art, not the usual beaded art work. So we decided to stop and have a chat to him and his brother.
Marshall is a young man from Zimbabwe, who now lives in South Africa. His talent was inspired by his brother who also creates these amazing figures alongside him. They are both trying to make a living for themselves and their families.
Marshall believes he can create anything and welcomes new ideas and challenges with both hands. You can always bring your own design and Marshall will create it for you.
Let's all support our local heritage which includes African artists, who endeavour to support themselves. See his story below.
